To keep things as simple as possible, throughout these Terms we will use “we”, “the store” or “the Seller” when referring to us, and “the Client” or “the Buyer” when referring to the person placing an order.
Website – the website through which the online store is made available.
Client / Consumer – the individual acting for purposes outside their commercial or professional activity who places an order on the Website.
Products – crossword and puzzle magazines and other goods presented on the Website, including personalized puzzles.
Order – the request through which the Client expresses their intention to purchase one or more Products.
Distance Contract – the contract concluded between the Seller and the Client without the simultaneous physical presence of the parties, through the Website.
By placing an order on the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not place an order on the Website.
To place an order, you must have full legal capacity and be at least 18 years old.
We strive to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and information are as accurate and complete as possible.
Photographs are for illustrative purposes only. There may be minor differences in color or appearance due to the settings of the screen on which you view the product or the characteristics of the particular print edition of the magazine.
Product availability is limited to existing stock. If an ordered product is no longer available, we will inform you as soon as possible and, if you have already made the payment, we will refund the amount paid for that product.
Prices displayed on the Website are expressed in Romanian lei (RON).
As the Seller is not registered for VAT purposes, the displayed prices do not include VAT.
Delivery costs are not included in the product price and are displayed separately before the order is completed. You will always see the total amount payable before confirming the order.
We reserve the right to change the prices displayed on the Website. Any price change will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
If, due to a technical or human error, a price is displayed that is clearly incorrect, we will contact you before dispatching the order to inform you of the correct price. In this case, you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.
You can place an order by selecting the desired products, adding them to your cart and completing the checkout process.
Before final confirmation, you will be able to review and correct the information entered, the selected products, quantities, delivery costs and the total order value.
The checkout button will clearly indicate that placing the order creates a payment obligation.
After placing your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order.
This message is for informational purposes only and does not mean that we have accepted your order.
The contract between us is considered concluded when we communicate our acceptance of the order, namely by sending you confirmation that the products have been dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, informing you accordingly, in situations such as: the product is no longer available, the delivery details are incomplete or clearly incorrect, there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, or the order was placed under circumstances indicating abusive use of the Website. In such cases, if you have already made the payment, we will refund the full amount paid.
Orders and all related communications are conducted in Romanian.
The available payment methods are those displayed on the checkout page.
Online card payments are processed through the payment processor Netopia in a secure environment. The store does not store the complete card details used for payment.
For cash on delivery payments, payment is made upon delivery through the courier.
The invoice is issued electronically and sent to the e-mail address provided in the order, unless you expressly request another method of delivery.
We deliver orders within Romania through the courier company Cargus.
The estimated delivery time and shipping cost are displayed before completing the order:
delivery takes an estimated 3–6 working days from order confirmation (2–3 working days to prepare the parcel and, usually, 1–3 working days for Cargus delivery), and the shipping cost is calculated automatically in the cart, based on the delivery address and the weight of the parcel.
Unless otherwise agreed, the products will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days from the conclusion of the contract. If we cannot meet this deadline, we will inform you and you may choose a new delivery deadline or cancel the order, with a full refund of the amounts paid.
The risk of loss or damage to the products is transferred to you when you take physical possession of them, namely when you or a person designated by you receives the package.
Please check the condition of the package upon delivery. If you notice visible damage, we recommend that you record it in the transport document and contact us as soon as possible.
For personalized puzzles, the product is created based on the information and materials you provide to us (names, keywords, photographs, themes).
The price of a personalized puzzle is not fixed. It is determined according to the complexity of the request, the elements that need to be included and the time required to create the product.
The order details and final price are agreed in advance by e-mail or telephone. Production of the product begins only after you confirm the final information and the communicated price.
The payment method is the one available and communicated when the order is confirmed. If advance payment is required for the production of the product, production will begin after payment has been confirmed.
By submitting materials, you confirm that you have the right to provide them to us and request their use for the creation of the product. If the materials contain images of other people, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the right to provide them to us for this purpose.
We do not create products containing illegal, defamatory, discriminatory or obscene messages, or content that infringes the rights of third parties. We reserve the right to refuse such an order.
Important: products made according to your specifications or clearly personalized are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal pursuant to Article 16(c) of Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014. This does not affect your rights if the product delivered is non-conforming.
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days, without having to provide a reason and without penalties, under the conditions set out in Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014.
The period begins on the day on which you or a third party designated by you takes physical possession of the products.
There are also exceptions provided by law, including products that are personalized or made according to your specifications.

The products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided under Government Emergency Ordinance No. 140/2021, for a period of 2 years from delivery.
If the product received is non-conforming – for example, it is damaged, incomplete, has missing pages or printing errors – you have the right, under the conditions provided by law, to have the product repaired or replaced, to receive an appropriate price reduction or, where applicable, to terminate the contract and receive a refund of the amounts paid.

You can place an order without creating an account if this option is available on the Website.
If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activities carried out through your account.
Please notify us as soon as possible if you suspect that another person has gained access to your account.
You may request deletion of your account at any time. Some data may continue to be retained when we are legally required to do so.
We may send you newsletters or other commercial communications only in accordance with applicable legislation.
You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each message or by contacting us at the e-mail address indicated above.
Placing an order does not automatically subscribe you to our newsletter.
The content of the Website – including texts, crossword puzzles and rebuses, grids, names, logos, images, graphics, page structure and design – is protected by copyright and related rights legislation (Law No. 8/1996) and belongs to the Seller or to rights holders from whom we have obtained the right to use it.
Purchasing a magazine gives you the right to use it for personal purposes. The purchase does not transfer copyright in the content.
Without our prior written consent, it is prohibited to reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, reprint, scan, upload online or commercially exploit, in whole or in part, the content of the magazines or the Website.
You may quote short excerpts with an indication of the source, to the extent permitted by law.
We are responsible for delivering the products ordered and for their conformity, under the conditions provided by law.
We cannot guarantee that the Website will operate continuously and without errors. There may be periods of unavailability caused by maintenance, updates or technical problems affecting our service providers.
We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites to which links may be provided on the Website.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits the rights granted to you by consumer protection legislation.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is caused by an event of force majeure or an unforeseeable circumstance, within the meaning of the Romanian Civil Code.
The affected party shall inform the other party as soon as possible and shall make reasonable efforts to limit the consequences.

Please note that the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR/SOL) platform ceased its activity on 20 July 2025, and complaints can no longer be submitted through it.
These Terms and Conditions and the contracts concluded through the Website are governed by Romanian law.
Any disputes shall, where possible, be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in accordance with the law.
As a consumer, you also have the right to address the competent court at your place of residence, under the conditions provided by law.
These Terms and Conditions may be amended when necessary, for example following changes to the Website, the introduction of new services or changes to applicable legislation.
The version of the Terms and Conditions available on the Website at the time the contract is concluded shall apply to your order.
